But as our team dug a little deeper, we noticed that there were a few things that made these guys suspicious.
Whether you’ve been scammed by timeshare owners before or just think timeshare ownership might not be for you, read on to learn more about Mexican Timeshare Solutions.
Who and What is Mexican Timeshare Solutions?
If you’re looking to get out of your timeshare contract, Mexican Timeshare Solutions might be able to help. The company says they have a team of experienced professionals with years of experience. If you have any questions or problems along the way, they have a variety of resources at their disposal to help you out. You can also contact them via online chat and email, or by phone if necessary.
Mexican Timeshare Solutions started its business in 2009 but claims to have over 25 years of experience in this industry. They specialize in helping those who have been scammed by timeshare developers in Mexico.
It’s important to note Mexican Timeshare Solutions was once located in Hayward, CA, but it looks like they have recently relocated to MT. While this is not a bad thing, it does raise some concerns about how long the company has been around, and whether they are still in business or not. If you try contacting them they may no longer be available to help you. Let’s take a more in-depth look at Mexican Timeshare Solutions and see what they offer.
Mexican Timeshare Solutions Website Review
Are you looking for timeshare exit solutions in Mexico? If so, you may want to consider Mexican Timeshare Solutions. But as our team reviewed their website we confirmed the interface is a very simple design, making it look outdated and not very professional. The reviews section includes only positive reviews which make us wonder if they’re paying people to leave positive reviews on their site.
They offer their services in two languages Spanish and English, which is convenient for those who are primarily Spanish-speaking. They also offer online support and an FAQ page to help you with any questions you may have. They also claim to have an experienced team of 15 individuals. They do provide LinkedIn profiles for some of their consultants and the company itself, which increases credibility. But what’s odd is the owner/president of the company was not mentioned here.
It is not clear to us whether this person is an employee, partner, or owner. But as our team clicked their BBB profile, we found out that the company lists Mr. Joe Gonzalez as its president. While this doesn’t sound so bad, we don’t think that this adds much credibility to the company considering none of their platforms mention that name before we looked at their BBB profile.
MTS does present a detailed blog section with 18 pages full of informative blogs that can answer a multitude of questions you might have. They just may be an invaluable resource to an interested timeshare owner.
One of their standout features is their ‘Resort Blacklist’ section. Here the blog presents a forum for timeshare owners to discuss their experiences with different resorts and their complaints. They have listed 31 resorts where owners complained about terrible experiences they had.
They also offer a FAQ section and an 8-page testimonial section that includes a video of satisfied customers. They have 75 testimonials available on their website for you to peruse to help boost their credibility. But what our team found odd was their BBB profile had 0. In addition, almost all of these reviews were positive.
Although the company does not mention many details about the staff and owner, they do offers an abundance of information that can be valuable. The team at Mexican Timeshare Solutions claims to be experts in the industry, and their website looks like a trusted resource. But can you trust them? Let’s continue reading to learn more.
Mexican Timeshare Solutions Cost
When looking to exit a timeshare, it can be difficult to find reliable information online. That’s because the timeshare industry is notoriously secretive. And Mexican Timeshare Solutions is no different. The company claims to have years of experience in the industry, but online complaints say otherwise. According to online reviews, buyers who use Mexican Timeshare Solutions aren’t always happy with their exit. In fact, one review says that the company scammed him out of $30,000. So, if you’re looking for a timeshare solution, be wary of Mexican Timeshare Solutions. Their cost is about as expensive as other companies because they charge commission. This can make the total cost as high as $10,000 to $20,000 depending on how long the contract is and how much you’ll be paying each month.
Is Mexican Timeshare Solutions a Scam?
Before investing in Mexican timeshare solutions, it’s important to do your research. According to several sources, Mexico is notorious for timeshare owners who feel they were duped into a purchase they wish they did not make.
Furthermore, many people are claiming that Mexican timeshare solutions (MTs) are nothing more than a scam. The company has abruptly closed its California location, and many people are wondering why. According to some reports, the company is not even licensed as a lawyer, and many of its timeshare solutions are not actually legal. A source called Timeshare Protection Agency seems to think so. So, before sinking your money into Mexican timeshare solutions, be sure to do your research and heed the warnings of those who have already been scammed.
Mexican Timeshare Solutions Online Reputation
Mexican Timeshare Solutions don’t seem to be well-known, but that doesn’t mean that they’re not legit. Like most companies, they have a mixed online reputation. That said, it’s still worth doing your own research before hiring them. That way you can be sure you’re getting a good deal and that the company is reputable.
On TrustPilot, they only have 1 review that gave them 3 stars out of 5. On Facebook, they have a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews. Their new Google Profile in MT already has a 5-star rating out of 26 reviews. So how is it that they have 0 reviews on the Better Business Bureau? It seems like something fishy is going on. But we’ll let you be the judge of that.
Overall, we recommend that you do your due diligence before making any decisions about Mexican Timeshare Solutions.
Final Thoughts
Mexican Timeshare Solutions is a company that claims to offer solutions to timeshare owners who need help getting out of their contracts. However, online complaints claim that they are unprofessional and unyielding. Furthermore, they charge up-front fees which makes it difficult for timeshare owners to find a fair solution.
While the website for Mexican Timeshare Solutions does seem thorough and helpful with plenty of reviews, blogs, and complaints filed against certain resorts, there does seem to still be something fishy about this company. Their BBB profile seems very blank for a company with over 25 years of experience. This isn’t comforting for the potential client who is accessing their company from another state and cannot go to the office itself to poke around.
All their reviews on their site are positive, same with their brand new Google profile. While everything you read on the internet isn’t true, it is probably not wise to put all of your eggs in Mexican Timeshare Solutions basket. What’s more concerning, is we could not verify the credentials of their “lawyers.” This doesn’t seem to be a very reassuring sign for a business that claims to be able to help with legal matters.
If you are going to get anything from this website, it is to use its resources to your advantage. Even if you don’t decide to go with their services to help you get out of your timeshare, their blog section and resort blacklist can be mined for information that can ultimately help you.
Overall we cannot recommend Mexican Timeshare Solutions for your timeshare exit. While they may provide more information than any other website out there about resorts, we feel that there are other companies out there that offer better services and a more positive experience for their users.
